Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base is planning to build a flying saucer-shaped, "Aerospace Science and Technology Experience Center", which is expected to be completed before the end of 2011.

It is reformed from Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base that the "Aerospace Science and Technology Experience Center" will be located in the 13-hectare Central Park of Xi'an aerospace base. The Planning and Design program of this theme park has been introduced, The circular trunk will link the highlights of the park such as "Sunshine lawn", "Tsukigata Island", "Fun Garden", "Playful Element Exploring Garden", "Meteorite Array Square" and other Sceneries.

It is said that, upon completion, the Central Park with the Aerospace Science and Technology Experience Center will have functions of science education, high-tech experience and display, ecology energy-saving concept demonstration, entertainment, emergency services and certain business service functions.

Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base is located in the southeast of Xi'an City, and it has a planning area of 23.04 square kilometers. The base will focus on the development of the major featured industries such as civil aerospace, semiconductor devices, new materials, new energy, services outsourcing and innovation industry as well as modern service industry.
